When we designed the Tadpole for the littlest paddlers, our design priorities were a safe flotation position, security of fit, and visibility. We also know a child can live relatively happy in the Tadpole. A fussy child is an easy way to have a day on the water ruined. Happily, the Tadpole provides parents with peace of mind and the child with a comfortable PFD to boot. Center-zip with panel construction is designed not to ride up under the child’s chin. Leg loop makes sure that the Tadpole won’t float up over the head and the segmented back pillow keeps the child’s head upright and above water. Convenient grab loop on pillow makes retrieval of a wayward toddler quick and reliable.
