This seat back is going to improve my paddling life immensely! Just sitting in it on the floor of the loft, it is more than worth the price. The instructions for removal of the original backrest and installation of the AirPro were very easy to follow. It barely took 10 minutes to swap them. I love my boat more than ever!
Nice BUT ... all that I really wanted was a new replacement seat back COVER for my original equipment Tsunami Airpro seat. On top of that, the "installation" instructions were difficult to follow and incomplete. The instructions were difficult because the photos used were black&white with poor contrast, making the section about holding the looped bungee and inserting the riser extremely confusing. There was NO instruction as to the springed-hinge clip and NO instruction as to the doing anything with the forward up- hold toggle rope.
First: Harmony was great in helping with my issues. This product from WS is amazing! But getting it installed was a nightmare for me. Parts broke (replaced quickly by Harmony) and the instructions are embarrassingly difficult to follow. I would have paid another $10 to have had one preassembled sent to me. WS needs to redo the included paper instructions or at least put a short installation video on their website.
I will say that the seat back was easy to put together and easy to install and was as comfortable as the original seat back. The serious downfall with this seat back is it broke in the same exact way that the original seat back broke. I took this out 2 times with the new seat back and while reaching back into my tank well to get into my tackle box the back of the seat where it comes down onto the height adjustment stop cracked allowing the seat back to drop very low on the spine. I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 due to the exceptional costumer service from Wilderness systems and replacing the broken back right away (customer service gets 5 stars!!!). They informed me that they have never heard of this problem happening which seems strange that it would happen to me twice. I am not a big guy, 5'11 185 lbs
