The Harmony Advanced Sit-on-Top Seat is light and comfortable. It features a channeled seat, which allows for ventilation and drainage, a nylon-covered soft foam backrest that is fully adjustable for comfort and a skid-resistant seat bottom. The backrest has been articulated so it better conforms to the paddler.
Perfect replacement seat for Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 Ultralight
Made rather flimsy. Okay for 150 pounder but not a 225 - 250 pound person. Original seat straps rotted in the sun, don't know what the replacement will do.
Hopefully, on this newer version of their SOT seat, Harmony have upgraded the material inside the seat that provides back support -- the ones we have warped during storage, and while still usable, are now a wee bit uncomfortable... Good seat at a reasonable price.
The the seat and back support worked great made paddling enjoyable. That being said I hated mounting and removing the clips each time. The clips are too bulky and hard to get on and off. We were sharing the kayaks and had to remove them each time. I will be looking for replacement clips with smaller bodies and no locking feature as it is not need once the straps are tight.
